The Timpanogos Timberwolves and the Spanish Fork Dons will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Timpanogos knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Spanish Fork likes a good challenge.
Last Friday, Timpanogos earned a 61-50 victory over Wasatch. That's two games straight that Timpanogos has won by exactly 11 points.
Timpanogos' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Steven LaPray, who scored 11 points. The matchup was LaPray's third in a row with at least ten points. Jack Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, Spanish Fork managed to keep up with Logan until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Spanish Fork was the victim of a tough 73-53 loss at the hands of Logan. Spanish Fork has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Their wins bumped Timpanogos to 5-0 and Wasatch to 1-1.
Timpanogos strolled past Spanish Fork when the teams last played back in November of 2018 by a score of 71-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for Timpanogos since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
