The Jupiter Christian Eagles will square off against the Highlands Christian Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Jupiter Christian comes in on three and Highlands Christian on six.
Jupiter Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let Atlantic Christian get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted against the Sharks since April 13, 2017.
Jaden Kostura made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two doubles, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Luke Winters was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Highlands Christian got the win against Sheridan Hills Christian on Tuesday by a conclusive 16-1. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by nine runs or more this season.
Like Jupiter Christian, Highlands Christian also got a great game from a two-way player: Matthew Friedman. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Friedman was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Ryan Watach was a standout: he went a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Sage Chartier, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Highlands Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .731. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Highlands Christian pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Jupiter Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Jupiter Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Highlands Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Jupiter Christian's way against Highlands Christian when the teams last played back in March, as Jupiter Christian made off with a 16-1 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
