Vance Charter put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They blew past Henderson Collegiate 76-7 on the road. Vance Charter's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Meanwhile, Eno River earned a 49-39 victory over Oxford Prep on Friday.
It was another big night for Madison Hobbs, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 20 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ava Hill, who scored ten points along with six steals and five assists.
Vance Charter pushed their record up to 15-2 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 50 points. As for Eno River, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Vance Charter against Eno River when the teams last played back in January as the team secured a 54-26 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Vance Charter since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
