Fort Zumwalt South had a rough outing against Fort Zumwalt East last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Fort Zumwalt South had just enough and edged out Liberty 23-20. For Fort Zumwalt South, this is just revenge for the 20-33 loss they suffered against Liberty the last time they faced one another.
The victory bumped Fort Zumwalt South's record up to 3-4. The defeat dropped Liberty's record to 3-4.
Fort Zumwalt South will look to defend their home turf next week against Washington at 7:00 PM. Washington are limping into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Liberty, they will face off against Fort Zumwalt East. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
