Creekview has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Newman Smith Trojans at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Creekview will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 614th, while the Trojans are ranked 114th).
Creekview pushed their score all the way to 55 last Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 75-55 walloping at the hands of Frisco.
Meanwhile, Newman Smith can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 76-46 victory over Turner. Newman Smith pushed the score to 59-34 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions had little chance of recovering from.
Creekview has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season. As for Newman Smith, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.
Creekview took a serious blow against the Trojans in their previous meeting back in January, falling 77-39. Can Creekview avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
