Sam Houston Gets a Boost from Bailey in 46-21 Defeat
Starting off the list is Sam Houston's Drew Bailey, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Bailey rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.

Brodie DePriest produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Sulphur to the win on Friday. DePriest rushed for 43 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 139 yards and a touchdown while completing 73.3% of his passes.
With the win, Sulphur broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-3. DePriest and Sulphur will challenge Southside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
