The Decatur Golden Gators scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They managed a 71-65 victory over Chief Sealth. The victory was just what Decatur needed coming off of a 77-43 defeat in their prior game.
Jaliel Anderson was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with three steals. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points. Dar Mcjimpson Jr was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Decatur's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Chief Sealth, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Decatur will head out on the road to face off against Tahoma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tahoma has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 609 points over their last nine matchups. Chief Sealth and Lakeside will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Lakeside is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
