Anzar will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against Kings Christian at Thursday @ Anzar at 6:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 20-84, which was the final score in Anzar's tilt against Laton last Friday. Anzar were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 12-50.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at the half for Kings Christian and Lone Pine last week, but Kings Christian stepped up in the second half. Kings Christian took their contest against Lone Pine 13-6.
Kings Christian's win lifted them to 1-1 while Anzar's loss dropped them down to 1-1. Anzar's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Kings Christian defensive front that amassed 4 sacks against Lone Pine, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
