Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Weir). They blew past the Madonna Blue Dons, posting an 85-50 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Red Riders as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Weir's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6. As for Madonna, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Weir will venture away from home to challenge Harrison Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Madonna, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Toronto at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st.
