Fort Morgan has struggled against Roosevelt recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Fort Morgan lost, one person who can't be blamed is Aiden Garver. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Jackson Wiedrich, who scored three points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Roosevelt was led to victory by Nolan Peterson and Seppe Salvatore. Peterson scored 22 points along with nine rebounds and four steals, while Salvatore dropped a double-double on 27 points and 17 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Salvatore has scored at least a third of Roosevelt's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Palma, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Fort Morgan dropped their record down to 0-10 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Roosevelt, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-10.

Niwot has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 2. As for Roosevelt, they will head out on the road to take on Severance at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Severance is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 57.5 points per game.
