Vallivue is 1-9 against Columbia since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Vallivue Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the Columbia Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Vallivue suffered their biggest defeat since December 2, 2023 on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 72-26 loss at the hands of Bishop Kelly. While losing is never fun, Vallivue can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while Bishop Kelly is ranked 30th).
Meanwhile, after soaring to 66 points the game before, Columbia were a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They were the victim of a rough 43-23 defeat at the hands of Ridgevue. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Columbia has scored all season.
Vallivue's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Columbia, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
Vallivue was dealt a bruising 56-26 loss at the hands of Columbia when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Vallivue avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
