Softball Recap: Freedom Has No Trouble Against Northampton

Freedom won the last time they faced Northampton and things went their way on Friday too. The Patriots blew past the Konkrete Kids 9-1. Considering the Patriots have won three games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Freedom and bumps their season record up to 5-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Northampton, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 5-2.

Coincidentally, Freedom and Northampton will both be playing Bethlehem Catholic the next time they take the field. The Patriots will host the Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Konkrete Kids will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
