Given Green Ridge's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while Concordia is ranked 435th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Hardin-Central came up short against Braymer on Thursday and fell 56-47. The loss put an end to Hardin-Central's undefeated start to the season.
Green Ridge's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Hardin-Central, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-1.
