It was a good run, but Glenbrook unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the North DeSoto Griffins by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Apaches have suffered since April 18, 2024.

Jackson Waller made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Easton Sanders, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

Glenbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10-1. As for North DeSoto, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season.

Glenbrook will be playing in front of their home fans against Loyola College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North DeSoto, they will venture away from home to challenge Captain Shreve at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
