In what's become a running theme this season, the Harding County Ranchers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 56-22 win over Lemmon. The victory was just business as usual for Harding County, who after 14 games remain undefeated this season.
Leading Harding County to victory were Claire Verhulst and Macey Wendt. Verhulst scored 11 points, while Wendt scored 11 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wendt has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelsi Costello, who scored nine points.
Harding County's win bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Lemmon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-3.
Harding County will head out on the road to challenge the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lemmon, they will be playing at home against the Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in South Dakota (Faith is ranked 42nd, while the Cowboys are ranked 34th).
