The Ridgeway Roadrunners entered their tilt with the Raleigh-Egypt Pharaohs with 12 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 13. Everything went Ridgeway's way against Raleigh-Egypt on Saturday as Ridgeway made off with a 76-53 victory. Given Ridgeway's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while Raleigh-Egypt is ranked 99th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Emanuel Allen was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. He hasn't dropped below nine rebounds for 13 straight games. Brian Carter Jr. was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Ridgeway has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for Raleigh-Egypt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-8.
Ridgeway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Raleigh-Egypt also has no future games currently scheduled.
