Campbell County has not had much luck with South-Doyle recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Campbell County's loss came despite strong showings from Jordan Day and Gavin Cox. Day scored 18 points along with five steals, while Cox scored 24 points. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Keegan Nelson, who scored five points.
Campbell County's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for South-Doyle, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
Campbell County will be playing at home against Powell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Powell is coming into the match hot, having won their last ten games. South-Doyle's road trip will continue as they head out to face Loudon at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th.
