The Park View Patriots waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins but they left with three. They put the hurt on Rock Ridge with a sharp 53-29 win. For Park View, this counts as revenge for the 43-26 loss Rock Ridge walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Leading Park View to victory were Kyra Hurley and Anna Helstrom. Hurley scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Helstrom scored 13 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
The victory got Park View back to even at 10-10. As for Rock Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Park View won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Woodgrove at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th. Woodgrove knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine matchups -- so hopefully Park View likes a good challenge. As for Rock Ridge, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Tuscarora at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. Tuscarora is coming into the matchup with four straight wins on the road, so Rock Ridge is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
