It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Turner Ashby Knights had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against Heritage by a score of 26-14.
Despite the loss, Heritage saw an underclassman step up: Ayden Slash rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 123 yards and a touchdown.
Turner Ashby's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Heritage, they have yet to win a matchup on the road this season, leaving them with a 6-5 record.
Turner Ashby will be playing at home against Spotswood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Spotswood is coming into the match hot, having won their last ten games. Heritage does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
