Walled Lake Central's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-1. As for Lakeland, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
Everything went Walled Lake Central's way against the Eagles when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the Vikings made off with a 48-24 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Walled Lake Central since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
