Biloxi have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on Pascagoula at 7:00 PM. Biloxi are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
Biloxi might have drawn first blood against St. Martin last Friday, but it was St. Martin who got the last laugh. Biloxi took a hard 23-41 fall against St. Martin. Despite the defeat, Biloxi saw an underclassman step up: Sophomore Tasjman Lanier rushed for 52 yards and 1 touchdown. One of the most memorable plays of the game was Lanier's 52-yard touchdown rush in the fourth quarter.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 50 points the game before, Pascagoula faltered in their contest last Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 7-35 walloping at Ocean Springs's hands. Pascagoula's loss continues a disappointing trend for the squad, making it four losses in a row.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. With four turnovers, Biloxi had trouble holding onto the ball. We'll see if Pascagoula exploit that vulnerability.
