They came out on top against Franklin Learning Center by a score of 54-47. Given TECH Freire Charter's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while Franklin Learning Center is ranked 761st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Among those leading the charge was Wikeem Jones, who scored 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sincere Shabazz, who scored 12 points.
TECH Freire Charter pushed their record up to 10-1 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Franklin Learning Center, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
