Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill will be up against a hot Thales Academy Rolesville team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Knights put the hurt on Thales Academy Apex with a sharp 14-3 victory on Monday. Considering the Knights have won four matches by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Cooper Nash was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1. He is becoming a predictor of Thales Academy Rolesville's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-4 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Andy Moore, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Leo Severs, who went 1-for-2 with four RBI and one double.
Thales Academy Rolesville hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, while Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for St. Thomas More Academy. The Lion blew past the Chancellors 12-0. The Lion haven't had any issues with the Chancellors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Elliott Norris looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.
At the plate, Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill got a massive performance out of N J Uhlenberg, who scored four runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Robinson, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.
The victory got Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill back to even at 5-5. As for Thales Academy Rolesville, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Thales Academy Rolesville couldn't quite get it done against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill in their previous meeting back in March as they fell 7-3. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
