The Veritas Classical Academy Lions's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. Veritas Classical Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Hull-Daisetta will be coming in after a loss.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Veritas Classical Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They secured a 62-57 W over Lighthouse HomeSchool. Veritas Classical Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Ty Merrill continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mercer Montgomery, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Hull-Daisetta took a serious blow against Warren on Friday, falling 63-21. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hull-Daisetta has scored all season.
The victory got Veritas Classical Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Hull-Daisetta, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
Veritas Classical Academy might still be hurting after the 53-31 loss they got from Hull-Daisetta when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Can Veritas Classical Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
