It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Teton Timberwolves had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against Buhl by a score of 41-28. The win was familiar territory for Teton who now have three in a row.
Among those leading the charge was Thomas Heuseveldt, who picked up 130 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Joyce, who rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown.
Buhl's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kyler Kelly, who picked up 93 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Gabe Finley was another key contributor, throwing for 179 yards and three touchdowns.
Teton's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Buhl, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
Teton will head out on the road to face off against Homedale at 1:00 p.m. on November 11th. Homedale is on a four-game streak of home wins, Teton a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Buhl does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
