Ethan Carroll made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Liberty is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-7 otherwise. Carroll was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
