Eastern Alamance has gone 9-1 against Person recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Rockets at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Alamance will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Last Friday, Eastern Alamance earned a 6-1 win over Southern Alamance.

Delani Straughan
03/28/25 @ Southern Alamance | 6 |
03/27/25 vs Orange | 9 |
03/22/25 @ Southeast Alamance | 9 |
03/21/25 vs Cedar Ridge | 9 |
03/13/25 vs West Johnston | 5 |
Delani Straughan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Eastern Alamance let Kinley Henderson and Kayden Manning run wild. Henderson went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI, while Manning scored two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits Henderson has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brylea Warren, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Eastern Alamance hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five strikeouts batters in five consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Person). They were the clear victors by a 24-7 margin over Williams on Tuesday. With that victory, the Rockets brought their scoring average up to 7.3 runs per game.
Madison Snead was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and three doubles. Annie Adcock also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Eastern Alamance's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Person, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Eastern Alamance took their victory against Person in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 17-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
