C.A. Johnson walked away with a 62-49 victory over Eau Claire. This was payback for C.A. Johnson, who suffered a 60-47 loss the last time these two teams met.
Leading C.A. Johnson to victory were Milton McCray and Lamont Jackson. McCray scored 14 points, while Jackson scored 17 points along with five steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Jackson has scored at least 25% of C.A. Johnson's points. Caleal Pearson was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
C.A. Johnson's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Eau Claire, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. C.A. Johnson will take on Lewisville at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Lewisville is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Eau Claire won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Ben Lippen at 2:30 p.m. on January 6th. Ben Lippen presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Eau Claire in South Carolina (Ben Lippen is ranked 83rd, while Eau Claire is ranked 200th).
