Cy-Fair has gone a perfect 10-0 against Northbrook recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bobcats will host the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Cy-Fair is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.
Last Tuesday, Cy-Fair made easy work of Cypress Falls and carried off a 10-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won six in a row.

Kathryn Kram spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 16 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Cori Figgs was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Addyson Elrod, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
Figgs wasn't the only one making solid contact: Cy-Fair kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cypress Falls only managed two hits.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Northbrook's offense. They lost 11-0 to Cypress Creek on Tuesday. The Raiders' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.
Northbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Cy-Fair, their victory bumped their record up to 18-8.
Northbrook's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Cy-Fair has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.6 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Northbrook, though, as they've been averaging only 1.9 strikeouts. Will Cy-Fair keep running through batters, or will the Raiders buck the trend?
Everything went Cy-Fair's way against Northbrook in their previous meeting back in March, as Cy-Fair made off with an 11-1 win. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
