Assumption can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match two weeks ago. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat South Terrebonne 42-14 at home.
Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Breaux Bridge had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took down Eunice 35-19. The win made it back-to-back wins for Breaux Bridge.
Kelby Hypolite had a dynamite game for Breaux Bridge, rushing for 168 yards and four touchdowns. Hypolite was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 53 yards. Cristian Matthews and his 95 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Breaux Bridge's win.
Assumption has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 8-2 record. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.67 points. As for Breaux Bridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.
