Decatur had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Lake View Chiefs 79-46. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 20 points or more this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Decatur, bringing their record for this year to 28-8. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 20.5 points. As for Lake View, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-17 record this season.

Decatur will face off against West Plains on Monday. West Plains knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Decatur likes a good challenge. Lake View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
