This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Derrion Davis and Kawann Johnson. Davis rushed for 123 yards and three scores on only eight carries while Johnson rushed for 143 yards and one touchdown. That's the most rushing yards Johnson has posted since back in August of 2024. Looking ahead, McAdory will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Helena at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pleasant Grove, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fairfield at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. This will be the Spartans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
