Willow Glen strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Santa Teresa Saints with a sharp 9-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Catalina Medina made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Medina was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Elizabeth Dilbeck and Haley Ocumen did most of the damage at the plate: Dilbeck went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double, while Ocumen got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most hits Dilbeck has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Lea Crawford, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Willow Glen was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Santa Teresa only posted a batting average of .231.

Willow Glen's victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Santa Teresa, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.
