The Central Wildcats lost against the Lawrence County Red Devils back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Central fell 64-53 to Lawrence County.
Braylon Dame was his usual excellent self, scoring 32 points along with four steals for Lawrence County. The matchup was Dame's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kaiden Wear, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Central's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 3-7. As for Lawrence County, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Central and Covenant Christian will round out the year against one another at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at. Lawrence County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Haleyville at 7:30 p.m. on December 22nd.
