Southern saw some tournament action on Saturday. They blew past the Medina Christian Academy Knights 62-17. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 21 points or more this season.

Grace Workman and Ashley Conwill certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Workman posted six points, while Conwill put up six points. That was a full 35.3% of Medina Christian Academy's points, marking the third time in a row Workman has earned more than a third of the team's points.

Southern has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Medina Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 10-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Southern will square off against Smithville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Medina Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
