San Gabriel Valley recap October 1, 2013
Lynwood's Ty Sanchez recorded the longest rushing play in San Gabriel Valley this season in his game against Los Alamitos last week. Sanchez scampered for 74 yards on the play and finished with 83 on the day as his team fell to the Griffins.
Paramount scaled the state rankings by moving to 174 from 219 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Pirates were able to move up by beating Culver City 35-14.
Downey's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jorge Reyna threw for 301 and 2 touchdowns and Jason Thomas had 117 yards receiving. On the ground Eric Carrillo contributed 164 yards. Darrian Franklin helped Downey's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 105 yards.
He went 19-30 with 1 interception.

Warren fell to Bell Gardens 48-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
