Lima Senior's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rogers Rams 48-6. The Spartans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Ja'Niaus Avanti K'Mere Hall had a dynamite game, throwing for 307 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 95 yards and one score on only nine carries. Those 95 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Amontrae Davis, who gained 91 total yards and three touchdowns.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Lima Senior's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Darvion Young, Travias Williams, and Karl Stokes, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Lima Senior now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Rogers, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
