Jefferson won the last time they faced Madison East and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Purgolders 2-1.

Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Madison East, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Jefferson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Madison La Follette on the 20th. Hopefully Madison East paid attention to the Eagles' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
