Volleyball Recap: Durand's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

After a string of 11 wins, Durand's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Milledgeville Missiles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Missiles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Lola Robertson paced Durand's offense, picking up 11 kills. Robertson got some help from Ali Anderson and her nine assists.

Durand's loss dropped their record down to 25-7. As for Milledgeville, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 26-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Durand is set to take on their familiar foe Lena-Winslow at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Milledgeville will face off against rival Pearl City at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
