The Rowland Hall Winged Lions will head out on the road to face off against the American Heritage Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rowland Hall has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 28.
Last Tuesday, Rowland Hall ended up a good deal behind St. Joseph and lost 42-27.
American Heritage suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Draper APA, falling 66-33. American Heritage has struggled against Draper APA recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Rowland Hall bumped their record down to 2-9 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for American Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
Rowland Hall might still be hurting after the 41-15 defeat they got from American Heritage when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Rowland Hall was down 24-4.
