Marysville has gone 7-2 against Central Crossing recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Monarchs will take on the Comets at 5:00 p.m. Marysville will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Marysville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They blew past Groveport-Madison 9-0. Considering the Monarchs have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Sienna Hutchins was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played. Jaidan Hutchins was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Central Crossing and Upper Arlington, and Central Crossing kept the tradition alive. The Comets walked away with a 7-3 win over the Golden Bears on Monday.
Hayliee Roberts made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Payton King was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Kaitlyn Rizzo also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
Marysville's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-6-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Central Crossing, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Marysville took their victory against Central Crossing when the teams last played back in April of 2019 by a conclusive 14-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Monarchs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
