Reeltown and Horseshoe Bend are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2016, but not for long. The Reeltown Rebels will head out on the road to square off against the Horseshoe Bend Generals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Reeltown came up short against LaFayette and fell 48-41.
Meanwhile, Horseshoe Bend pushed their score all the way to 56 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 69-56 to LaFayette. Horseshoe Bend has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Reeltown's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Horseshoe Bend, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.
Everything went Reeltown's way against Horseshoe Bend in their previous meeting two weeks ago as Reeltown made off with a 58-38 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Reeltown since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
