Despite the loss, BELIEVE Circle City saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jazmyn Brown posted 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brown has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cordarionna Kirkwood, who earned four points and three steals.
Tindley's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for BELIEVE Circle City, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-2.
Tuesday's contest will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Ariauanna Hall and Justyce Hunt. Hall has been dynamite this season: she has averaged 15.5 points, 4.7 steals, and 5.9 boards. For her part, Hunt has averaged 11.8 points, 2.7 steals, and 3 rebounds.
Tindley took their win against BELIEVE Circle City in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 59-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tindley since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
