Santiago barely beat Kennedy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Santiago put the hurt on Kennedy with a sharp 10-2 victory on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Sharks in their matchups with the Fighting Irish: they've now won three in a row.

Santiago's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Kennedy, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Santiago will square off against Paloma Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Paloma Valley will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Santiago surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kennedy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Segerstrom at 3:30 p.m. on April 4.
