Zach Mosely and Jessie Quinn made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Mosely struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Quinn pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At bat, Mosely got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs, while Quinn got on base in all three of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Doyline is undefeated when Mosely posts two or more runs, but 0-4 otherwise.

Larazus got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Ransbottom got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Isiaiah Foster, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.
Doyline always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .706. Their OBP was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .520 that Southwood posted.
Meanwhile, North Caddo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to Providence Classical Academy.
Jon Austin put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single hit and allowing only one earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in February. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two doubles, and one run.
Austin wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Michael Stevens, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Holt Tunstall also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
North Caddo's loss dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Doyline, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Doyline might still be hurting after the 12-2 defeat they got from North Caddo in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Will the Panthers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
