Peck is 8-2 against Deckerville since March of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Peck Pirates will be playing at home against the Deckerville Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Peck has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Friday, Peck didn't have too much trouble with Mayville at home as they won 50-31.
Peck's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Thomas West, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and four blocks. West hasn't dropped below two blocks for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Carsten Lieblang, who scored 18 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Deckerville didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Unionville-Sebewaing on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 59-53 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Deckerville.
Peck's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-9. As for Deckerville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.
Peck beat Deckerville 51-40 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Peck repeat their success, or does Deckerville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
