The victory continues a trend for the Copperheads in their matchups with the Yellow Jackets: they've now won three in a row.

McKenna Randall and Brooks Dority scored both of Catawba Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Northwestern is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They lost 9-0 to Nation Ford.

Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Catawba Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
