Lake View came into Wednesday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They won by a run and slipped past the Carvers Bay Bears 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Wild Gators: when they faced off against the Bears on Monday, they had to take a 13-12 defeat.

Lake View's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-6. As for Carvers Bay, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Lake View and Carvers Bay will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Wild Gators see the field they'll take on Latta at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Carvers Bay, their break will end when they face Williamsburg Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
