After a string of three wins, the Living Water Christian Warriors's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 36-25 to Hilltop Christian. Living Water Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Meleah Bell went supernova for Hilltop Christian, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Bell has scored at least a third of Hilltop Christian's points.
Living Water Christian dropped their record down to 5-5 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.8 points per game. As for Hilltop Christian, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10.
Living Water Christian will take on the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hilltop Christian, they will head out on the road to take on the Chargers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
