Brad Rhoads and aaron wood provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Hale. The connection went for 74 yards, the longest such play in North Star this season.
Atlanta moved up to 389 from 485 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Huskies were able to make the jump by beating Mayville 48-28.
Atlanta's Garrett Badgero and Jake Chambers have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Badgero has thrown for 1343 yards this season, while Chambers has 25 catches for 594 yards. Bryson Devers from Mio-Au Sable leads the league in rushing with 682 yards.
A big matchup in North Star this week will be when the Eagles take on Hillman. At the moment, Hale is in fifth, while the Tigers are in fourth.
Au Gres-Sims extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Tawas Area, 8-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
